So let me lay it out for you.

There's this girl who goes to visit an old friend on her birthday. This friend happens to be a guy, and he got this awesome amber necklace and everything, even though she kind of surprised him with the whole coming to town thing. So he decides to cook her dinner, then after dinner, stuff happens. Romantic stuff.

( Now this might not sound like a problem... )

Lana Lang is an attention whore.

I made a verse list for Kira right off the bat, because although I had none at the time, I expected she'd compile at least a few. She's just loud like that. So, here's what I got so far.

First Name Basis: An RP verse with scienceinblack. Ah, the taboo of the student/teacher relationship. Yeah, she's 23 (not that he's really that much older than her) and several years removed from being his student, but things are going to happen and there's going to be lots of inner conflict on both sides, which is fun. I'll prompt from this, of course, because I've yet to find anyone who plays any of their canon mates, but if I do, they'll probably be part of this too.

Hunter's Thunder: Prompts only for now. Supernatural crossover, the basic hunter!Kira verse. Hoping to find a female hunter to play alongside her, but it's doubtful I will. Supernatural canon will probably have no bearing on this. No apocalypse, just monsters that need to GTFO/DIAF. It's already threatening to go the way of the first verse as far as romance. *facepalm* I blame the afore mentioned Tommy player.

Yet-to-be-named Power Rangers S.P.D. Crossover: Despite Tommy mun's enabling, Jack Landors will always be my favorite guy to pair Kira with. This will be AU from S.P.D. Wormhole, with Jack getting stuck in the past. Still coming up with details. Prompt only, unless I find myself a Jack.

I have other Ranger-y ideas floating around in my head, but I'm limiting myself for now.

Also hoping for Kira to have some small, insignificant part in notsamskeeper and imnot_likeyou's Hammer To Fall verse. If it doesn't work out that way, I won't be disappointed, but she wants it so bad. (Not like that, evil!Sam!)

Kira slowed reached for the dagger under her pillow. A noise had stirred her from her sleep. She needed to be ready for anything.

"Whoa! Kira!" Tommy stood there, hands up in surrender. "It's me."

She relaxed considerably and lowered the knife. "Oh my God, you scared the hell out of me."

"My house, my room."

She sighed and flopped back against the pillow, sliding the blade back into it's hiding place. "I know. Just forgot where I was for a second."

He shook his head as he looked around the room. "Yeah. I was just coming to check on you. Which, by the way, is something you should get used to while you're here."

"Go to sleep, Dr. O," she mumbled. "I can take care of myself."

She heard him sigh and felt the bed shift as he sat. "You're sleeping in my bed. I think we can drop the formalities."

"Not like we're gonna have sex, Tommy." She paused a second. "Unless, ya know...you want to."

"Kira."

"Right. Not funny."

He said he couldn't help it, and she believed him. The white gem was evil and it was too powerful. He had no control.

"Stop defending him."

"I'm with Conner on this one," Ethan agreed. "I mean look at what he did to Dr. O!"

Dr. O. The words made her turn to look at her fossilized teacher, still alive but encased in an amber-like substance.

Trent hadn't meant to do this, but it didn't change the fact that someone very important to her was trapped and they had no idea how to get him out alive.

Still, they needed to help him, and while Hayley didn't know if there was even a way, she agreed to try.

When they got to the lake, he was gone.
